The first thing a green hotels company should do is have an Internet presence in addition to their real-world brick-and-mortar location. This is because more people look to the Internet for what they need or want before looking to any other media, including the phonebook. Having a web presence means more than a website with information on location and hours of operation. A web presence means being able to sell things online, and if your company does not sell items then allow customers to make reservation through an online reservations program.
