Greek Letter Cookie Cutters Help Sororities, Fraternities Raise Cash for Charities

Many sororities and fraternities hold fundraisers such as bake sales in order to raise money for not only items the young men and women need in their house but many raise money for worthwhile charities like children’s charities, women’s charities or various medical charities.

 

Bake sales could include various cookies made from Greek letter cookie cutters which would sell like hotcakes because many sorority girls and fraternity boys enjoy cookies and would enjoy them more if they have been shaped into Greek letters that represent their particular fraternity or sorority.

 

Baking cookies and using various cookie cutter sets for a bake sale is a fairly easy way to raise money because nearly everyone on college campuses are hungry for home baked goods such as cookies, brownies, cakes, cupcakes and even homemade donuts or tarts.

 

Having all the sorority sisters or fraternity brothers get-together in the kitchen of their house and then have each person or pair perform a part of the cookie baking process, will not only get the job done quicker, but will have a bonding experience between new members and experienced members.

 

Many adults seem to think that college-age students lack discipline and organizational skills but several college students, especially sorority and fraternity members, prove adults wrong when they come together for good causes such as raising money for  women’s shelters, children’s charities and other worthwhile causes like building a house for Habitat for Humanity.

 

Through the Internet or specialty bake shops, people may order custom cookie cutters in all types of shapes and sizes that represent something different or special like a school’s logo, initials or mascot or perhaps a special drawing someone has created that would look nice as a cookie and help to bring in more money from the sales of this type of cookie.

 

Of course college kids will always have parties, but a cookie making party in which the final product will be sold to their classmates to make money is not only a good idea, it is a fun idea.
