IPhone game developers could increase their revenue on their websites by using search engine optimization or SEO.  Search engine optimization is the act of placing keyword rich articles on a website in order to attract the three major search engines – Google, Yahoo!, and MSN.  These three major search engines send out their “feelers” so that they might locate the keywords and keyword phrases within the articles and among the websites and then rank the websites according to a special formula.  This special formula is only known to be three major search engines; however it is the knowledge that the special formula has to do with the number of keywords or keyword phrases within a company’s website.  Keywords and keyword phrases are the words potential customers place in the search boxes on the search engines in order to find what they need or want.

 

IPhone developers could also use search engine optimization with keyword rich articles placed on Internet news websites.  Internet news websites are always looking for well-written and informative articles that may or may not have something to do with news or something new; however the iPhone is fairly new and is always coming up with new apps they could write about for the Internet news websites.  Apps are short for application or app stores and the iPhone has thousands of them.  Internet news websites want to introduce their readers to new information that will help them make informed and educated decisions about products and services they may not have otherwise known about.

 

The three major search engine “feelers” will locate and re-rank a company’s standing on the major search engines ranking lists by including the Internet news website articles in addition to blog articles.  Blogging is no longer considered simply online diaries or journals where people whine about their feelings.  Blogs are places where businesses exchange information about their company’s products and services to a whole new audience.  A blog could be placed on a company’s website so that they could announce new products and services or the blog could be used by former customers of the business to express their feelings and experiences with that business as a sort of testimonial for new and potential customers to read before making a decision whether or not to do business with that particular company.

 

Search engine optimization is always working and is a free and automatic service to all websites on the Internet no matter what their business has to offer the public. Search engine optimization is a great marketing method for all businesses that are located on the Internet and want to gain more customers without spending any money in the process.
